How To Clean Cars without Using Too Much Water

Mobile Car Wash for Auto Detailing

Steam pressure washers harness the heat of steam to break down dirt. Steam is also effective as a cleaning tool because it can be easily applied to clean many hard surfaces. A large number of Daimer®’s steam pressure washers are low moisture machines; meaning they have low flow rates for use in areas without adequate drainage. This is particularly useful for commercial car detailers, who need to minimize water consumption to reduce problems associated with water collection and disposal. Low moisture pressure washers are ideal for mobile car washers who often face the problem of low water supply on client sites.

Steam pressure washers such as Daimer®’s Super Max™ 6120SCW and Super Max™ 6230SCW are specially designed for car washes. These machines offer multiple benefits. They have flow rates as low as 0.5 GPM, compared with ordinary pressure washers with flow rates of 2-5 GPM. This results in a significant reduction of water consumption. These machines feature temperatures as high as 300°F. They also offer pressure levels of 1000 psi, ideal for cleaning car and truck surfaces without damaging the surface. These machines may be used for quickly defrosting car exteriors. They are very effective in removing grease, soot, and fuel oil residue from engines. In addition, they remove mud, plant sap, and other dirt from the vehicle’s surface.

These machines are more suitable for commercial cleaning of cars and trucks when compared to steam cleaners and ordinary pressure washing systems. Unlike normal steam cleaners, steam pressure washers emit wet steam to clean surfaces. This, coupled with moderate pressure levels, helps eliminate the need for detail brushes and wiping, in turn reducing the risks of scratching and paint chipping.
